Walnut Creek, CA
This multi-family project in Walnut Creek provides affordable housing to families. Located on a challenging triangular site, the project makes use of BŌK Modern’s sunscreens, guardrails and wallscreens. Finished in either a bright orange color or anodized aluminum, the sunshades are tapered resulting a defining element to the project, particularly on the curved façade. BŌK’s fascia mounted guardrails and security screens in the same B3 pattern and finished in anodized aluminum provides both privacy as well as congruity with the sunshades.
1515 Riviera includes 30 apartments with a community room on the top floor that opens onto a generous outdoor roof deck with gardening plots and views of Mt. Diablo. Together the new development will provide 58 new affordable apartments in two distinct buildings within close proximity to downtown Walnut Creek and the BART station.
