Casa de la Misión

Casa de la Misión

San Francisco, CA

BŌK Modern sourced inspiration for this project, which provides housing for formerly homeless seniors, from the neighborhood where it was built: San Francisco’s Mission District.

Sunshades, canopies, and gate infill panels filter air and light through a traditional floral pattern, custom designed by Arch at BŌK Modern, which blends the otherwise modest building into the cultural fabric of the surrounding area, designated as the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District.

Located on 24th Street and developed by Mercy Housing, a service provider to marginalized youth, the 5-story Type V mixed-use project includes a total of 44 studio and 1-bedroom units, administrative space, and commercial and retail space.
