Africatown Plaza

Africatown Plaza

Seattle, WA

BŌK is partnering with DBA and GGLO to design a curved rain screen façade inspired by African architecture. The organic form challenges BŌK to carefully compose a seamless array of rain-screen panels that reflect the building’s unique silhouette. Africatown, a seven-story mixed-use development, will feature 126 affordable homes and offices with a distinctive shape that stands out. A feature product from BŌK Modern is the Nail-On Sunshade, known for its ease of installation and sleek design that enhances the building’s aesthetic. Available in both cor-ten and aluminum, the sunshades feature an abstract circular pattern, combining functionality with artistic appeal. BŌK’s expertise in custom Rainscreens and Nail-On Sunshades will highlight the building’s graceful movement, bringing its design to life.
