The Lillian Murphy Housing Complex, a multi-family residential affordable housing development, is a showcase of BŌK products with three different patterns and four different colors on its stairs, wall screens, guardrails, and accent panels.
The 7-story interior stair at the China Basin Wing features our playful A17 pattern and a white metallic powder coat finish for a bright, airy environment. The guardrails on North elevation also have a custom design to accommodate an LED light channel. Our guardrails also clad the bridges which connect the building’s four different wings.
Inside the courtyard, BŌK wall screen and guardrail combinations connect each of the exterior walkways. The heart of the courtyard contains a bike pavilion, the main design focal point within the ground floor courtyard and the heart of the The Lillian Murphy Housing Complex community. Bike sheds are typically hidden away but this elegant structure is filled with natural light and provides storage for 50 bikes.
